| Team pilot and owner- Abdelhamid Abouyoussef, a 32 year old mechanical engineer with a masters degree in Ocean Engineering, first discovered his passion about the desert at the age of 18 when attempting to bypass a radar highway section!!! Since then he has continued to accumulate knowledge and experience about the desert. Other than designing and racing rally cars, he has extensive experience in desert safaris having toured the western desert from Uweinat and Gilf Kebir to the Quattarra depression. His passion extends to adventure sports having trekked and climbed in USA, Peru, France and Sinai Egypt. This was celebrated when he climbed Kilimanjaro, the tallest free-standing mountain in the world at 5,895 meters above sea level in 2000. | |
| Team Manager - Hossam Mostafa, another mechanical engineer and the unknown soldier behind the team's success. His responsibilities include mechanical design and parts configuration research, management of logistics, spare parts and maintenance crews. | |
| Head Mechanic - Said Abdelkhalek, a talented and efficient mechanic whose creative solutions have saved this team many a time. | |

The newest member of the team is Thomas Holzknecht who will assume the role of Co-pilot starting The Pyramides 2008. He is a german navigator by passion and lover of the desert by choice. The win of the Pyramides was made much easier due to his presence. He is also the organizer of The Libya Desert Challenge. |
| Abdel3al Abdelrehim is our passe-partout. He was a support car driver in 2005, a co-pilot in 2006, an assistance member in 2007. He does it all, including going to siwa at 5 am to get us a replacement for a broken axle; and he got us one from a 1975 car that actually worked. A ressourceful guy, a good friend and a great asset to the team. | |

The Co-pilot of The Pharaons 2007 was Mahmoud Ezzeldin. With him, a 4th place overall was achieved, an unprecedented result for Egyptian participation in Pharaons Rally history. His first trip to Siwa, was in 1998, ever since he has been in 4x4 with either family or friends roaming the Egyptian vast deserts. |
| The pyramids 2007 was won due in part to Ahmed Badr, who was the team's Co-pilot. As a rally enthusiast and a perfectionist, he was a great addition to the team. | |
| Last but not least comes the ever so calm, ever so serene Ramses Nosshi. He co-piloted both the Pharaons 2005 and 2006 and was an integral part in the team's early stages. |
